My experience with mental health revolves around stress and procrastination to do with schoolwork and academics. I’m a high-achiever and so I place so much pressure on myself to constantly be the best I can be, however, this leads to me being burnt-out and not functioning efficiently and well. When I have so much work to do I tend to avoid it until the last minute, and then I do everything all at once, which isn’t healthy and doesn’t benefit me at all. There are obviously more effective ways to deal with this, and so The Teenage Mind has really helped me discover what I could do better. It has allowed me to find healthier coping strategies and I’ve become a lot more efficient and less burnt-out.
